Our expert team are registered members of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Building.

Owen Finegan

Managing Director, B.Sc. (Hons.) Building Surveying, ICIOB

Owen graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology and began his career in the construction industry over 30 years ago as a site agent coordinating trades and consultants on a large social housing scheme in County Meath. From there he progressed to work for a construction firm specialising in retrofit of historical buildings in the greater Dublin area. Duties involved the preparation of survey drawings and proposals along with estimating the cost of the work. His final move before becoming self employed was to work for the property development firm Monarch Properties as a building surveyor on the Navan Shopping Centre project in County Meath.
He set up in private practice in 1990 in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan and has worked as a consultant in various construction related sectors. The range of work includes Building Surveys, Legal Expert, Property Evaluation and Project Management.

Wayne Geary

Director, MSCSI MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor,
B.Sc. (Hons.) Building Surveying

Wayne graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2010 with an Honours Degree in Building Surveying. He initially started his career managing projects and surveying buildings in the domestic and commercial sectors throughout Ireland and the UK. He has a wide range of experience in design and construction including planning, fire safety, disabled access, defects analysis, surveys, conservation, certs of compliance, legal mapping and he has acted as design and assigned certifier and expert witness on a vast variety of projects. Wayne is a Registered Building Surveyor and he also achieved Chartered status in 2019 with the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (MSCSI) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Jason McDonnell

B.Sc. (Hons.) Building Surveying

Jason graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2015 with a Degree in Building Surveying. He had previously worked with building merchants and has a thorough knowledge of building materials and their on-site application. He also deals with house and extension design, agricultural building design, Property Surveys, Land Registry Mapping and the preparation of Planning Applications.

Colm Marron

B.Sc. (Hons.) Building Surveying

Colm graduated initially from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 1995 with a Diploma in Building Surveying and most recently with a Degree in Building Surveying in 2019. He has previously worked on a wide range of projects for financial institutions, health care facilities, leisure centres, new build and refurbishment works for commercial, educational, retail, agricultural, and housing projects for both commercial and domestic clients. Colm also deals with house design, extensions, agricultural building design, property surveys, Land Registry mapping and the preparation of planning applications. He has also completed the HomeBond course on Building Regulations Explained.
